PRINT INFORMATION

I don't remember how old I was when I first picked up a camera, but I must have been young. My grandfather was a successful painter so I think my creative side must have come from him. In my teens I saved my money and bought myself my first SLR. Film was expensive and wasteful by today's digital standard, but I pressed on and shot roll after roll. Later on I purchased my first digital SLR and I never looked back. I'm proud to have photographed during years before digital was main-stream, and I have a huge respect for the photographers who continue to use this medium.

" Fog "

About "FOG"

Fog has a way of taking an ordinary image and making is special. Cool, calm soft light was lighting up the valley, I moved in close to capture this classic Australian winter scene. You can almost feel the warm rays radiate from the trees as the fog turns to mist. The golden light didn't last long and I had to work quickly.

I love photographing the Australian country side.
