I don't remember how old I was when I first
picked up a camera, but I must have been young. My grandfather
was a successful painter so I think my creative side must
have come from him. In my teens I saved my money and bought
myself my first SLR. Film was expensive and wasteful by today's
digital standard, but I pressed on and shot roll after roll.
Later on I purchased my first digital SLR and I never looked
back. I'm proud to have photographed during years before digital
was main-stream, and I have a huge respect for the photographers
who continue to use this medium.
