Canvas Frames

Frames for your canvas print are kiln dried wood, it is light weight and does not warp with heat as all the moisture has already been removed, this provides for the most stable frame choice. We use New Zealand plantation grown radiata pine for a really professional finish. Canvas photos are much lighter than traditionally framed prints without the need for glass, making them much easier to transport when you move home.

Life Span Of Canvas Art Prints & Green Technology

We use the very latest "green" printing technology. Prints will last many generations, over 80 years. This new technology gives a finished product that is water resistant unlike many budget canvas producers. It can easily be wiped with a clean damp cloth.

ABOUT KANE

From an early age, I have had an intense passion for nature and the great outdoors. Originating from New Zealand, I quickly developed a love and appreciation of the rich colours in this fantastic world we live in. I am completely self-taught and have spent countless hours exploring South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales in the search for the most striking, most beautiful Landscape images.

Launching this site is the realisation of a dream come true and I look forward to sharing my current and future work with you.

I hope you enjoy viewing, as I have enjoyed capturing, these favourite images of mine.

My Background - How I started

I don't remember how old I was when I first picked up a camera, but I must have been young. My grandfather was a successful painter so I think my creative side must have come from him. In my teens I saved my money and bought myself my first SLR. Film was expensive and wasteful by today's digital standard, but I pressed on and shot roll after roll. Later on I purchased my first digital SLR and I never looked back. I'm proud to have photographed during years before digital was mainstream, and I have a huge respect for the photographers who continue to use this medium.

I now shoot full time with professional Canon equipment.

Photography Workshops

Early 2010 I teamed up with fellow photographer David de Groot, we have since formed a small photography tuition business. Grasstree Photography aims to offer value for money hands on photography tuition.
